In the sixth round of the World Rally Championship, contested in Portugal, Sebastian Ogier and Julien Ingrassia (Ford Fiesta WRC ’17) returned to the winners circle.

The reigning World Champion drove a perfect rally, comfortably getting the better of all competitors with the exception of Thierry Neuville (Navigator Gilsoul – Hyundai i20 WRC ’17). This final rival brought the battle right to the end. At this point the battle between Ogier and Neuville continued to the wire which is also the theme for the World Championship of 2017. Indeed the two champion Stilo drivers occupy the first two positions in the title chase, leaving little opportunity for other drivers to get a look at the front. Third in the Portuguese event was Spainard Sordo (navigator Marti – Hyundai i20 WRC) completing a magnificent podium for Stilo drivers. Ogier and Neuville have won, until this stage of the season, two events each and the the WRC will continue to be highly uncertain.

This is the top five world ranking:
1. Ogier – points 128; 2. Neuville – points 106; 3. Latvala – punti 88; 4. Tanak – punti 83; 5. Sordo – punti 66
