On the treacherous roads of Wales in Great Britain, Sebastien Ogier and his navigator Julien Ingrassia (Ford Fiesta WRC), have taken a highly strategic victory right at the end of the event.

The five time World Champion, took his fourth win of the season after a thrilling fight with Latvala-Anttila by a margin of just 10.6 seconds. If it was a day to celebrate for Ogier, it was a day to forget for another Stilo driver, Ott Tanak, who retired after leading the event and thereby see his chances of taking out the world title diminish. With the points haul achieved by taking the win, Ogier is now on 182 points, edging ever closer to the championship leader, who, also uses STILO equipment, Neuville (189 points) with the season nearing an uncertain climax. The next events include the RACC RAC of Catalonia from October 25-28 followed by the Kennards Hire Rally of Australia.
