The 6 hours of Spa-Francorchamps, a round of the World Endurance Championship, saw the GTE-Pro class dominated by the teams of Davide Rigon/Sam Bird (winners) and Alessandro Pier Guidi/James Calado, driving Ferrari 488 GTE cars for the AF Corse team.
The 6 hour was a particularly fascinating battle between the two Ferrari teams and that of the the Ford, with the Ferrari coming out on top thanks to a perfectly set-up car. The fight for the win was highly emotional among the AF Corse team members, which is possible to see in the video highlights below. With the success at Spa, Ferrari is now leading the constructors championship with the driver pairing of Davide Rigon/Sam Bird second in the series behind another team featuring STILO driver, Andy Priaulx (Tincknell/Derani).
