The 24 Hueres of Le Mans is quite simply a motorsport legend and in this unique race and in this edition of the race STILO climbed to the top step of the podium thanks to Earl Bamber and the Porsche 919 Hybrid.
The 2017 edition of the race will go down in history as one of the most charged in recent years and also one that provided many with a great deal of satisfaction. Beyond the success focused on Bamber – his second after 2015 – was celebration for Oliver Jarvis’s second place (along with Ho Pin Tung and Thomas Laurent) driving a LMP2 Oreca 07.
Stilo’s top drivers are joined at La Sarthe by fifth place Andre Negrao (with Pierre Ragues and Nelson Panciatici) in an Alpine A70 and the sixth placing of Filipe Albuquerque and Hugo Sadeller in a Ligier JSP217.
The top ten was closed out with another STILO crew; Roberto Lacorte, Andrea Belicchi and Giorgio Sernagiotto (Dallara P217 from Villorba Corse).
Even in GTE Pro the STILO drivers left their mark with Andy Priaulx and Pipo Derani (with H. Tincknell – Ford GT), who finished the 24 Hours in second place after fighting for the win right to the end.
A good result achieved in GTE AM with the success focused on Dries Vanthoor (Stevens and Smith – Ferrari 488 Gte) and in 2nd position finish Marco Cioci (Cameron and Scott – Ferrari 488 Gte).
Le Mans is regarded as arguably the biggest and toughest race in the world, so it is with great satisfaction for the company that well over 30% of drivers chose to use STILO.
