In the second round of the Italian F4 Championship, Leonardo Lorandi (Bhai Tech Racing) was dominant in 2 of the 3 races held. Some great results for another other young STILO driver also; Olli Caldwell (Prema Theodore Racing) who stood on the second step of the podium three times during the weekend.
In Race 1, Leonardo scorched away from the start ahead of the polesitter Gregoire Saucy and went on to win ahead of Caldwell.
In Race 2, Lorandi, who started in pole position for the second race, saw his hopes of 2 wins in a row go up in smoke after the Safety Car intervened during the race, he finished in fourth position. The STILO colours continued to fly high however with Caldwell finishing in second place.
In the third race of the weekend at Monza, the talented young Italian did not miss the opportunity to streak away from the field after the Safety Car intervention and from there went on to take a sensational win. The first two places were as per Race 1: Lorandi and Caldwell making it a STILO 1-2. Lorandi leaves the Monza circuit at the top of the standings after 2 wins, a pole position and a fourth place. He leads the series ahead of Caldwell. For the talented young STILO drivers the break in the F4 series will be brief; they return to action on June 17 at the Marco Simoncelli circuit of Misano.
